Information you provide
When you submit an RFQ, FreeWill Material receives the contact and technical information entered in the form, including your name, company, country, email, WhatsApp number, product interest, application, quantity, dimensions and message. If you choose to attach drawings, we also receive those files and their filenames. You may optionally tell us how you found us. That self-reported answer and the public page where you submit are included in our internal enquiry email; we exclude URL query strings and fragments. The answer is not sent to Google Analytics.
How the information is used
We use this information to review your request, communicate about technical and commercial requirements, prepare a response and maintain necessary business records. RFQ information is not used to subscribe you to marketing communications without a separate choice. We use the optional source answer to understand where enquiries come from; leaving it blank does not affect your enquiry or your analytics choice.
Service providers and access
We use service providers that support website hosting and transactional email. Attached drawings are processed by our email delivery service and delivered to our business mailbox for RFQ review. The website does not create public download links for these files. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information to operate the RFQ process or respond to your request.
Optional Google Analytics
Only if you choose “Accept analytics”, we load Google Analytics to understand visits to our public pages and successful enquiry submissions. Google receives a cookie-based browser identifier, basic browser and device information, the public page viewed and whether an Engineering RFQ or Quick Enquiry succeeded. Google also receives your IP address as part of the network connection and may process data outside your country.
We do not send names, email addresses, enquiry text, drawing files, filenames or RFQ reference numbers to Analytics. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments. For a limited list of public search and social sites, we send only the referring site’s origin, never its path, query or fragment. Other referrers are omitted. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled. Our Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days without extending that period on each visit. See Google’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Accepting and rejecting analytics are equally optional. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage so we can respect it on later visits. Use “Analytics settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting stops future measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this browser; it does not delete data already sent to Google. Clearing this site’s browser storage resets your choice and we will ask again. If your browser blocks preference storage, your choice may not persist after you leave. You can use the website and submit enquiries without analytics.
Retention and security
We keep RFQ information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, related business records and applicable obligations. Attached drawings are handled as part of these RFQ email records. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
