Product Description

FreeWill Material technical ceramic product families and engineering applications

Review representative product forms and application context below. Final geometry and acceptance criteria are confirmed from the drawing and operating conditions.

Silicon Carbide Sleeves (also known as SiC bushings, shaft sleeves or ceramic liners) are high-performance precision components designed for extreme wear, corrosion and high-temperature environments.

Manufactured from high-purity silicon carbide ceramics, these sleeves offer exceptional hardness, low friction, outstanding chemical resistance and excellent dimensional stability. They are widely used as hard rings in mechanical seals, bushings in pumps and bearings, and wear-resistant liners in abrasive and corrosive process equipment.

Manufacturing process (source record): High-purity SiC powder → forming → sintering (SSiC / RBSiC / RSiC) → precision diamond grinding and polishing → final inspection. (具体工艺路线与能力待我方确认)

Quality control (source record): Dimensional inspection, surface quality check, material property verification and batch traceability. (具体质控标准与流程待确认)

Data status: the source record is not supplier-verified. Numerical values are typical engineering references, not guaranteed product specifications; final values require grade, drawing and test-basis confirmation.

Product Features

  • Extreme hardness and superior wear resistance (significantly longer service life than metals or alumina)
  • Excellent chemical inertness against acids, alkalis and corrosive fluids
  • High thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance
  • Low coefficient of friction for smooth operation
  • High strength and dimensional stability under load and temperature
  • Precision machined surfaces suitable for sealing and bearing applications

Typical Applications

  • Mechanical seal faces and hard rings for pumps and compressors
  • Shaft sleeves and bushings in magnetic drive pumps, slurry pumps and sealless pumps
  • Wear-resistant liners for pipes, hydrocyclones, grinders and sandblasting equipment
  • High-temperature radiant tube liners and sliding bearings
  • Chemical process equipment handling abrasive or corrosive media
