Boron nitride (BN) is a machinable advanced ceramic family used where electrical insulation, thermal-shock behavior and low wetting by many molten materials influence component selection.

Hot-pressed BN, pyrolytic BN and BN-based composites are distinct routes; they are not interchangeable and must be matched to atmosphere, temperature, load and purity requirements.

This family organizes nozzles, break rings, hot-zone fixtures, insulators and custom machined parts without publishing unverified grade values.
