Silicon Carbide Components for Wear, Sealing and Thermal Applications

Explore drawing-based silicon carbide components for pumps, process equipment, semiconductor handling and demanding wear environments.

Material Overview

Silicon Carbide (SiC) ceramics are high-performance technical ceramics designed for extreme environments requiring outstanding hardness, thermal conductivity, wear resistance and chemical stability.

We manufacture precision components using three main process routes: Reaction Bonded (RBSiC), Recrystallized (RSiC) and Pressureless Sintered (SSiC). Multiple forming methods — slip casting, cold isostatic pressing, extrusion, dry pressing and 3D printing — enable complex shapes and large-size parts with tight tolerances.

These materials deliver reliable performance in high-temperature, corrosive and abrasive conditions up to 1650–1900 °C, making them ideal for mechanical seals, semiconductor equipment, kiln furniture, chemical process components and high-wear industrial applications. Custom solutions are available to match specific thermal, mechanical and chemical requirements.

Material Grades & Variants

Source-recorded material routes and typical reference values support preliminary selection. Final specifications are confirmed against grade, drawing, operating conditions and test basis.
